Cherry Blossoms

It's that time of year! Josh and I often act like tourist in our own town...Every year we battle the crowds and go check out the cherry blossoms. This year was pretty chilly but probably a good thing it was a little cooler for Grandpa Bob! We walked the Tidal Basin and took in all the views.

Really, pictures just don't do it justice. It's nice to walk along the water, watch the ducks, and take it all the pretty trees. Oh, and people watch! It fun to see how people pose and what they take pictures of. Josh always laughs at me because I could do that for hours.

OOOHHH! Great pictures! You are right, the pictures don't do it justice but I can imagine how beautiful it was. I especially like the one of the Washington Monument.

Now that looks pretty! I would love to so something like that. The best we can hope for here in Nebraska is the fertilization of the fields. I am positive that the cherry blossoms smell alot better!
