The other day a commercial came on for the circus. I told Josh how I've never been. By the next morning we had tickets to the Verizon Center to see the show. We had a lot of fun. Between the entertainers and the guest it was very amusing! However I did feel bad for the animals that had to go straight back in there cage. I wasn't the only one that was upset there were people picketing by the metro! I tried to take some pictures but had the camera on the wrong setting and with the light show it was too much for my little traveling camera I keep in my purse! It was fun doing something a little different.

Jeff and David (from work) had a baby shower for Josh and I at there house on Thursday. They are so thoughtful and always taking very good care of us. We have loads of little goodies for the baby and probably way too many outfits! His closet is looking way better then mine or Josh's. This week I will spend it finishing writing thank-you notes. I'm horrible at those little boogers. They sit on my table and I do a few at a time and then I push them into a little pile. Blow them off for a few days and start again! But I'm toward the end and hopefully it will feel so good getting them off to the post office.

We made our last trip to the outlet mall before the baby comes too! We picked up a few things we had on our list. Josh lost it again at the "Carter store" He fills the bag up in no time and we are out the door! I like to pick and chose and try to think what he has already and how big he'll be for what outfit. If Josh likes it he puts it in the bag, then tosses it on the counter and we are out of there! It's like getting a present when I get home I have no idea what he just bought!

The doctor appointments are stacking on top of each other. I have one every week the month of April. It's exciting because we don't have too much more time before the little guy is here.
I used my prenatal massage on Saturday. It was a good rainy day for it. It felt pretty good. I'm not really into going to get a massage; It's more Josh's thing but I'm really glad I did it. It was a good present-that Josh is always thinking.

Josh is busy at work like usual. He's hours are still pretty yucky. He's been working extra hard because he is enrolled in school for his masters. He spends endless hours on the computer-But hopefully it will all pay off toward the end! He has the Cherry Blossom race this weekend. But I have a feeling he isn't looking forward to that. He hasn't got a long run in probably since November! He just hasn't had the time between work and school. The days are getting longer here so hopefully he can hit the trail a little more at night. He really loves to run~

A Good Laugh!

Since our quick trip to the beach we've had some pretty good laughs around here. We purchased a disposable camera for snorkeling and when we got back home I knew we had other film that needed to be developed but had no idea what was on them!!! A few pictures wont make the blog! First I want to keep my job, (and Josh's)and we also want to keep our friends...

I would try to explain but why it's a lot more fun with you all guessing! Josh may have been the model for my prop!

Then I wanted to show you a European porto potty for men! This isn't a joke really that's what they have-if you are lucky they even have one!
The comments have been pretty quite lately so I'm going for the shock value! I hope you get a rise out of it-GET IT!!!

Sharks!

Josh, "Nubs," and I went snorkeling with the sharks! We had a great time. We used a disposable camera and the pictures turned out pretty good. Well besides my swimsuit top caught in my life jacket-That's Hot! I guess I couldn't hear the guy under water telling me to fix my suit! LOL We spent some time at the conservation area and swam with string rays and nurse sharks. Then we sailed out in the ocean and went snorkeling on the reef. It was amazing. I'm already hinting to Josh that we need to go again. Some reason he thinks we need to stay closer to home encase the baby comes~I guess he doesn't want our first baby born on a catamaran!

Once Again

Once again I haven't been very good at keeping up with our blog. I have several complaints that I need to keep everyone posted on what we are doing.

Every month Josh takes a baby belly picture. I'll show February's because I have a feeling March is going to be ugly. (HUGE)

The first weekend I skipped I had a huge surprise. Alana, Lana, and Brig flew out. I had no idea they were coming. I was tucked away in bed when there was a knock on the door. Josh asked me if I heard that and I said yes-"who would knock on our basement door?" He went to the door and I told him "don't just open it-look!!!" Then walks in the three girls! I couldn't believe it! I couldn't even jump up and do the pee-pee dance with excitement because I had been in bed already for a few hours and was hot. I took off my PJ bottoms!!! They all laughed when I told them I was hot and I didn't have any pajama bottoms! The things you say when you don't expect company or when you've been sleeping for a couple of hours.

I showed them around a bit. We went tot he Pentagon Memorial, Georgetown, and the White House. Brig always likes to say "one scared we're all scared" and we had a few stories like that!

Alana got caught in the doors and the security sensor at Barnes and Noble- I can't even begin to explain the noise that came out of her-I still laugh when I think about it. It was the first time Lana was here! I wish I could have shown her around a bit more.

Josh and I decided on new running shoes for each other for Valentines Day! I picked out some hot new Asics.

The following week I was hit with the FLU BUG! and I thought I was going to die...Agh I hate being sick! Lucky for Josh he didn't get it. He was working alot and was at a conference. I think it was better that he was gone. I slept for several hours and it felt so good to just sleep.

February is my B-day month. I turned 30! I can't beleive it-I saw it written at the doctor's office-Ouch 30! Am I really 30?

With that I spent another weekend with Alana, Lana, and Brig. They threw a party for me and "Nubs." I got several cute stuff to help Josh and I with the baby. Catey my neice has been super helpful throwing out names. Josh and I have a small list that we narrowed it down to. But I think we are going to have to see the little guy to make our final decision! But...I'm open for suggestions-we still have time.

Our appointments seem to be going well-I've had a couple follow-ups when it come to radiology. It seems the little guy doesn't like to sit still. They've tried having me lay on my side. Use the restroom. Walk around. The last appointment led us to another hospital-where they have a stronger machine/different level. They final got the views of his spine and all four heart chambers. My attitude toward it all-"IT IS WHAT IT IS." There's no need to get all worked up about it, I can't stress the what if and maybes. It seems to be working for me! I don't have to go back in until late this month. Which after so many appoinments last month I'm cool with that.
